A person doesn't have to dress Gothic to be a Goth, that is of course...if you're a true Goth. Or do you simply mean you want to dress KinderGoth/Industrial Goth with the bondage strap pants? You can make them yourself for less than $10. Go to any fabric store, or even Walmart, pick up a pattern. I have one from McCalls #2360. Then all you need is the hardware. I haven't been able to find any yet, but pick up some small D-loops and...I forget the name of them...but the metal key chain hooks. Sew the D-loops onto a small piece of fabric, sew this onto your pants. Sew the strap into the d-loop on the hook and attach, and you've got yourself a pretty cool pair of pants you won't find anywhere else. Zippers are a sinch to add on. Just sew on either side of the teeth, if you want it for looks. Or cut a slit in the fabric and sew the zipper over this and attach some fabric on the inside for the pocket.

As for shirts you can wear anything, try making your own by using old shirts. "108 Ways to Transform a T-shirt", a book, and it has a few things for guys in it too. I bought it. Black cloaks are another must have, and are also easy to make.

To johny below me...if you had knowledge...Goth and Emo are very different. Only since newer boy bands came on the scene did these two seem to be alike...

Layer clothes that are torn. Shop at conignment shops or second hand stores. If your town has a Goodwill that would be an excellent place to shop. And don't worry about who's going to make fun of you for being goth or cheap or whatever else you want to be. Have fun and do something different!

well I have always looked gothic, and never really tried, and all my friends are, and they dont have much money. Most of them make their own collars and stuff, just buy some studs or whatever. Just look p'd off all the time, it should work

Check out the second hand stores for clothes. Ask girls for help with make-up, they love making up guys. It's not too hard, just dress like your going to an old time funeral, wear dark eye make-up and stare at the ground...boom you're goth.
