Windows Vista Home Basic-$199.00
Windows Vista Home Premium-$239.00
Windows Vista Business-$299.00
Windows Vista Ultimate- $399.00
There ya go. Of Course these prices are standard. These are just buying the thing. Upgrading costs half the price of your kind of Vista.

I have been told that there are a lot of bugs on the new Windows Vista. I would not change yet until they have it sorted out. I still prefer Windows XP.

The price? Your sanity. Vista will be buggy, frustrating to install, and a LOT of software will be incompatible for a while. I suggest wait 2 years.

Yes for the full version, the upgrade version will only be £149.99. It is a lot more expensive over there than in America unfortunately.

think thats the full price, if you get an upgrade copy to upgrade from xp I think it costs less.
I think the retail copy of XP was a similar price when it was first released.

You best have at least 1 Gig of Ram and at least 125 MB for video. This sucker is a major hog of resources.
