Almost every hotel in LV has a nice swimming pool, over the past ten years or so it seems like they all try to outdo each other when it comes to their pool areas.
These are the "super pools" of LV so if you're staying at one of these hotels you can spend plenty of time, playing at the pool.

MGM Grand
Monte Carlo
Mirage
Free spectacles
The Fountains of Bellagio
Fremont Street Experience

Lion Habitat - MGM
Heck even riding the bus in LV is an experience, they have a new bus for the tourists on the strip called the Deuce, it's a double decker bus. $5 for a 24 hour pass to ride anywhere in the valley. We had some time to kill one night so, just after dark we got on, went up to the second deck, took the front row seats, and rode up and down the strip from MGM to Stratosphere and back.
I guarantee you will not run out of things to do in LV. I spend 4-6 weeks a year out there and have for 20 years and I have not come close to doing "everything"..
Take in Madame Tussauds at the Venetian or ride the Gondolas there. The Eiffel tower at Paris or Stratosphere Tower for incredible views..Luxor the worlds largest pyramid, the interior is just as incredible, they even have an exact replica of King Tut's Tomb just as it was found by Howard Carter. The Shark Tank at Mandalay Bay..Take an air tour of the Grand Canyon, bus tour to Hoover Dam. There's Red Rock Canyon, Mt Charleston, etc
this is a great site for more LV info
http://www.lasvegasadvisor.com >if your family is going to be there for a few days the LVA's POV might save you a lot of money too...

Nothing. It's definitely geared either towards much younger kids, say 8-12, or towards the 21+ crowd. There are amusement park rides at Circus Circus, New York New York, and the Stratosphere, and there is M&M World, and arcades at a few hotels. Other than that it is not very teenage friendly
