All of the crowds around and the noises in homerooms halls and of course the cafetria. When you went there did you feel shy? awkward? How did it feel being in Junior High?

Well, that was a long time ago, but I remember the thing I was most nervous about was being with different people in each class--in grade school you just had the same people in the same class all day long.

That and being with people from different schools that I didn't know.

It turned out not to be as big a deal as I'd made it out to be in my head, though. I was nervous and shy at first, but after the first week it was just normal, as if school had always been that way.

I felt very nervous at fist. The locker combination thing was a big problem for a girl with a lot on her mind. I was (ofcourse) not shy.Thats just not in my personality type. I have tons of friends, and when I had a class without a friend, I just made new ones. Junior High is no where near as easy as middle school.

Its different but you'll love it. There are more specials and it is great to move around during the day. You are mor independant and i felt so cool. It was awkward meeting new kids at firs. It takes a while for people to warm up to the idea but before you know it, you'll be involved in the jumble of it all and the juicy gossip.

*sigh*
Junior high isn't very crowded. But it can be scary. I remember I was scared that I wouldn't remember my locker combination but you remember it, easily. And if you're coming from Elementary School with your friends, you shouldn't be shy. Even if you're not, you'll make friends.
Try to do your best and you'll be able to do high school too. Just stick with your friends.

I was excited. It seemed like this huge milestone to me, and a new opportunity to make friends. Turns out it was pretty fun...you make a rough transition...no longer a child, but barely a young adult. People don't take you seriously and you think you know everything. Fun times.

I loved it. I remember the sense of independence and maturity I felt, and that was the time I really started to define myself and my personality.
