It's a good idea to avoid all chemicals/fumes. If it gets in your body, it gets in the baby's, and their body is less able to handle, esp. that early when most of the major organs are still forming/developing. It could cause birth defects or miscarriage. I would definitely steer clear of the chemicals.

No no no no no. Don't work with any solvents while you're pregnant, even if they're the low VOC variety. Not enough research has been done to determine if there are actually any ill effects to the fetus, but is staining your deck really going to be worth it?

Put it on the "Honey Do" list.

She wasnt asking about gymanstics, she was asking about staining a deck???
Wow its scary what people are writing cuase i clean for a living and have been arond chemcials the whole time. i usually wear gloves though and put it on a rag instead of spraying it now. i have been tyring to avoid the aerosols. well you should really avoid staning your deck if possible. thats what i would do. good luck !

Your first three months of pregnancy are very critical (this is when a huge part of your baby's development takes place), and miscarriages usually happen at this time. You should really get someone else to do this for you. Don't take the chance.

I wouldn't do it. The fumes from the stain may be toxic to your baby.

You can do gymnastics in 1st month. don't coddle yourself. my ex wife played squash until about 6 months.

i wouldn't even use windex! don't use harsh chemicles during the whole pregnancy!
