What to wear to a Graduation?

My daughter is having her graduation on January 23, 2007, I live in Canada so it's usually really cold around that time, I have a black dress below the knees but no sleeves, should I simply wear a black cardigan over it or a bolero?

The black dress and sweater sound fine- as long as you are warm. Also, adding high black boots and a nice pin or necklace add some of your own character and style to the outfit.

Deffintly wear a cardian or some type of jacket!! Dont freeze your toosh out there..
