Your question is interesting but have you the details of country wise population growth rate? or details of recent census of India? As per Census the Growth rate of Muslims (Birthrate and population) is very High. The Muslim Law allows to keep more than one wives.Now compare with boarding a train in India with unreserved ticket.How many times somebody returns the Ticket for not finding the accommodation. Answer is that anyhow mostly the accommodation is made. Sometimes it may involve quarrels also.

that's not cool i'm indian and we just do have alot of kids and like you said india is a poor country so we can't afford birth control

i dont think so... now a days even in villages they have only 2-3 kids maximum..... however, we r not poor country we r developing country.... only because of this corrupted politicians we r not able to show the world that we r developing country... in metro cities now a days people have not more than one kid... because it is so difficult to feed and give good education...

children are supposed to help the parents in their elderly years , and family is important , also the more males they have the better ( males take care of the family money wise) females take care of the parents physically ....so its a cultural thing u have to be from middleast or Asia to understand this
