Hi everyone:
My computer is a Toshiba Laptop Satellite A70-75 series. It cames with a CD wish says "Recovery and applications / Drivers DVD".

My question is: Can I use that CD in order to restore my laptop's OS as the first day I bought it?

Thanks for your answer!!

No. Your recovery disk will not do a complete install of the Windows XP that was installed on your computer. The recovery disk is only there to replace and repair possible errors that may have come up by replacing or adding other software. It has a list of all original drivers/hardware/applications that came on your computer plus the ability to usually recover your computer if it has a fatal crash and restore it to original status. This restore only works if Windows has not been completely corrupted past the drivers.

You should be able to. Put it in and go for the reinstall option. Be aware that you will lose anything and everythng on there though. If there's anything you want to keep, back it up on disc or external hard drive.
Hang on though, I think the guy above me is right!
