1) Log(1/k) = - Log(k)
will help you.

2) You may have to rewrite it (I do not understand to what the log function applies).

Use brackets (even it it looks cumbersome), for example:

log((√3)*5) = log(a*25)

if that is what you mean, then it helps to know that the log(k^2) = 2*log(k).
It will also help to use: log (m*n) = log(m) + log(n)

Both of these are "change of log base" problems.

log(a) x = log(b) x / log(b) a

and

log(a) xy = log(a) x + log(a) y

And log(a) 5² = 2 log(a) 5

You should be able to do it now.

is it
log(3a)= log(b/3)

Is it
log(squareroot(35))=log(25a)

It's not clear
