Eh, plays the story line like all the others. The gameplay is fun tho. New moves, got rid of a few, definitely better handling in fighting. customization is completely different, you get the earrings and put them on any character, but instead, they grow to next levels with exp. You can add certain ppl in certain missions in story so you can have tag battles so it's more like the story. Definitely one of my favorites, you just can't do your own instant transmission kamahama.
