Do you means cars aren't invented? Are we "standing" at a red light? I'm confused. But if you mean no cars as in "no cars coming from both ways then I would probably run the light. But there might be the chance they have those sneaky cameras that catch you doing **** and then send you a ticket in the mail, so no, I most likely would not!"

Help me to Understand WHY there's a red light on the for Home Depot store @ 2:00am. That CREW is not getting off until 6am.
Help me Understand WHY there's a red light in Full service for traffic that's not MOVING @ all Directions. So I run it.
Oh, yeah, In The Baton Rouge, LA area they are beginning to put up cameras. So I will be more careful.

no. I have been at a so called "deserted" intersection, and I started to go, and a car came from out of NOWHERE at literally about 90 miles per hour and totally blew the stop sign. I ALWAYS wait because people are CRAZY, and would the extra minute or 2 at the light really cramp your style so much?

No. Because it's hard to actually KNOW there are no cops. I use a device on the bottom of my vehicles call a "traffic light changer" that forces traffic signal detection systems to acknowledge my vehicle's presence and cycle a light change, so this situation does not confront me very often.

if no cameras and it stays red for a long time and there are no cars in sight, i would probably run on the red light. i just hate wating and there is no cars. not only waste of time, but waste of gas. if there is a camera, then i would be patient and wait.

Because there is a TV camera sitting on top of the light pole and it has just recorded you plate number.

No, unless it's an extremely long red light, then I'll think about it.
