Your period should come back right after you have the baby

Depends on whenther you're breastfeeding or not, and it depends on your body. If you're not breastfeeding, it should be back within 2-3 months. If you are, it could come soon, or it could be a year before you see a period. I always breastfeed, and I always got my period back by the time the baby was about 3 or 4 months. But I've known people who never had a period as long as they were breastfeeding.

It depends, if you are breastfeeding it may not come back until you stop nursing. Although some women who nurse still get their period. ( I was one of them) If you are not nursing, whenever you stop bleeding after birth, it should come about 4-6 weeks after the initial bleeding from labor. Although again all women are different. I know some women who did not nurse their babies and took 2 1/2 months to get their period. So basically there is no sure answer, just be patient and wait.

I was always told 6-8 weeks after the birth.. However everyone is different and there is no way to know for sure.. Just keep you items with you and expect the unexpected.... I didn't start mine until 4 months after the birth of my son. And right after I had him I only bled for 4 days.. so again even on that, everyone is different.... Congrats on the baby though!!!

Hm, well that depends on if you are breastfeeding or not...Breastfeeding kinda postpones your period usually. I exclusively breastfeed my daughter and my period came around 4 months after birth.

I have no idea when you get your period if you dont breastfeed though, so sorry about that.

I hope this helped a little anyway though! And CONGRATS!!!

If you are breastfeeding, it may delay the return of your period for some time.

Otherwise, usually around 6-8 weeks afterwards.
