Hot flashes are basically a symptom of hormonal imbalance. Some folks say birth control pills help, but the cure might be worse than the problem. Panax Ginseng is supposed to help support the hormonal system. If you can stop at a health food store and check our PRESCRIPTION FOR NUTRITIONAL HEALING by the Balch's I am sure you would find some suggestions in it that would help. You need to ask your body "is this going to help?" in relation to everything you eat. Everything has its effect for better or for worse.

If your asking how young is too young then I don't think your ever too young to get hot flashes which are usually caused by your hormones.
