To do the conversions, you take your starting units and then simply multiply by the conversion units. Remember that the units you want to change *from* must be on the opposite side of the fraction bar. For example, look at the first one below:

(153 feet/min) * (60 min/1 hr) * (1 mi/5280 ft) = 1.73864 mi/hr

I knew that I had to change from minutes to hours, and I knew there were 60 minutes in an hour. But do I put the "60 min." on the top or on the bottom of the fraction? I needed the "minutes" label to "cancel out", so since we already had it on the bottom of the original term, I needed to put the "60 min" on the top of my conversion term to make that happen.

Here are the conversions for the other 2 you asked about:
(216 oz/1) * (1 pint/16 oz) = 13.5 pints

(27 cm/day) * (1 m/100 cm) * (7 days/1 week) = 1.89 m/week

Is someone trying to get there home done for them over the net?

Remember the key with conversions is to get your units to cancel

ft/min * mi/ft = mi/min

next you need to get the time in hours so;

mi/min * min/hour = mi/hour

Since I broke the equation up earlier here is one all together

cm/day * m/cm * day/week = m/week

There are 16 oz/pint or 16 oz = 1pint

so divide by 216 by 16 to get the number of pints.

Sure, if I wasn't too lazy to look up the conversion units. Lemme know what you get.
