Look up the Troubleshooting guide at the back of the manual. Otherwise if you can't find the manual visit Sharps website and search for it. It will tell you what it means and possibly how to get the HiFi working again. Good look

I have a couple of possible theories, though they are normally for more expensive hi-fi equipment, anyway.

1. If it displays just after the unit is turned on it maybe the the relays (If it has them) are not being activated, stopping any power reaching the speakers. This maybe because there is an internal fault and it is protecting your speakers or the speakers could be wired incorrectly (Check wiring on back and make sure negative is going to negative and positive to positive.)

2. Are you using different speakers? If the impedance is lower than what the manufacturer recommends the speakers maybe drawing too much current through the amp so the unit cuts power to the speakers to avoid any damage to the power MOSFETS (Power amp) inside.

3. Could be overheating, high volumes create a lot of heat, make sure the unit is well ventilated, there maybe a fan near the power amp heat sink/transistors that is broken. If the unit is no longer under warranty it wouldn't hurt to take the cover off and check for any build up of dust on the heat sink/vents.

It sounds like it cannot be fixed unless it's sent back to the company, but it's always worth turning the unit off at the mains for a couple of seconds then turning it back on before you try anything!

(If you hear a clicking sound when you turn the unit on that maybe a sign that the unit uses realys to put power onto the speakers)
