Here's the scenario: My and my ex have been divorced for approx. 4 years now, he just called me a minute ago trying to get me to go to dinner with him. He remarried 7 months after our divorce was final and just recently had a baby. (He called my job to tell me all of this when it happened). Why is he calling me? Our relationship ended very horrible and he abused me mentally and verbally. Why is he calling Me?

Don't bother finding out, whatever the reason is there's an ulterior motive behind it and knowing him like you do, you know it's not gonna be a good one.

Because he is the same jerk he has always been! He is probably "not happy" with his new wife (you know how it is always the womans fault a man cheats) and he is calling women from his past trying to hook up with them. I wouldn't give him a second thought, Good for you for getting rid of him, keep it that way. If he keeps calling, tell him you are going to tell his wife. That should get him to leave you alone.

He must be feeling insecure in his situation, so he is contacting you someone he is familiar with. If he was mentally and verbally abusive maybe he is in a situation where he feels he can't get away with it, but knows he can with you so you are comfortable to him. Stay away from him!!

Cuz. she just had a baby and have NO time for him! You know how it is, when baby comes, he is out the door! He's definetly trying to find some conversation and support and whom better than you because you know him welll...
My ex-h did the same to me, calling me to talk to ME not our son and to download and vent about his work and bla bla bal... I told him: honey...that is NOT my job! that is YOUR wife who should be hearinmg about this NOT me... sorryu...let "Mrs I-Just- had a baby inmature princess" handle it cuz I DON"T have to ANYMORE.
He is looking for moral support. Let his wife handle honey, is HER JOB!

He is probably wanting to make sure that he is much happier than you are, or wanting rub it in your face (if he thinks it would bother you). I would tell him that if he calls you again, you are gonna call his wife.

beccause u keep picking the phone up he thinks the lines of communication are still open therefore your doors and legs should follow.
if u are sane leave the INSANE to themselves and their new focus of his terror (his new wife)

Because he's insane. Tell him to stop calling you and leave you alone, period. Don't go anywhere with his a@@ either.

Don't talk to him anymore. He is the one with the problem. I know from personal experience. I kept talking to my ex and it almost got me murdered, by him!

he calls BECAUSE YOU LET HIM .....duh! if it were totally over 4 you then you would not accept his calls AND would not listen long enough to know what's going on in his life. stop playing dumb your still interested in him you already knew the answer before you ask. if you stoped talking he would STOP calling
