Cos she was offered her '15 minutes' and has clung on to it for another 3 years(so far)!.
Cant stand the girl (and 'er mother is just the vilest person ever to be on BB or on TV even?) but i guess on some levels its good on her for getting her self millionaorre status out of it all.
As for the reasons why shes where she is now... well.. guess its to us all and always will be.
Can imagine it really pisses well educated ppl off cos they worked so hard for their money/status and she was handed it for being stoopidest person in the uk.
Life can be a ***** sometimes!

Sadly the truth seems to be that a lot of people in this country feel intimidated by intelligent people. Richard Dawkins, Neil Gaiman and Sir David Attenborough spring to mind. So they pay attention to people like Jade Goody, who I think is pretending to be more stupid than she is and Jordan who really does put on a false act of being a bimbo. So they look at people like that and think "Well she isn't very bright but has made millions so maybe so can I." It's very sad but true of a lot of things in life. Also has anyone noticed that Jade is seriously UGLY?

well she appeared in Big Brother 3, she got herself an agent and began doing interviews in heat and other sorts, she has continued to do fitness video's, tv series and the odd appearance in a **** reality TV programme.
Because of her 'bubbly personality','girl next door' image, she was a hit after BB3.
However, after memorable dumb questions and stupid statements, we can not forget the 'personality' that is Jade Goody.
Personally, Big Brother should be banned as it is introducing people like Jade into the limelight

She hasn't really done anything that we could "celebrate" but she was a notorious Big Brother contestant and introduced a lot of "Jadisms" to the language.
Her perfume was the biggest selling celebrity endorsed product of the whole of last year though. I suppose that's an achievement.
Her name is also, according to Google, the 25th most mentioned celebrity name on the internet.
She's taking over from Tony Blair as PM in the summer as well.
Good luck to her. She proves that it's not *what* you know.......

Jade is a celebrity because she was et up to made a fool off...and she turned the tables on her abusers and became a millionaire and it still annoys the people who set her up in the first place.
I am no great fan of Jade's...but I despise the people who are whining now when all they wanted to do was take the p*ss out of her.
