Hi, I finaly got my 10 gal hex tank cycled I had 2 zebra danios, added 2 more and five very small Neon Tetras, Do you think its a good mix? interesting the neons are all staying all the way in the bottom, they look lined up all in one direction. and the 4 danios look ok, swiming then they goafter each other here and there which I think is normal.
I'd like to hear what you think?

Thats the nature of zebra danios. This is a good mix but now you have little room for cleaner fish. you should get a few ghost shrimp to keep food off the bottom of the tank and an otto or two for the glass after algae grows on it or clean the glass yourself with one of those sponge brushes.

I think that mix is fine. The danios will probably roam the surface for the most part, and as the tetras become more adjusted, they will move around more as well. As long as you keep up on weekly water changes, and add no more fish, I see no problems.

yea you can mix them, they all are tropical fish, i have mixed tetras, guppies, albino frogs and zebra danios with no problem. also they are schooling fish and like to swim in groups. best to keep 5 or more a species so they can school properly and feel safe.

Sounds good. Neons tend to prefer more mature water so they may not do very well, but you may be lucky.
Good luck with it, fishkeeping is a fascinating hobby;
