As a Gator fan, I am not sad that the Buckeyes lost, though I do remember how it feels (Nebraska '96).

OSU would not have won with Ted Ginn back. A national championship team cannot be one-sided, and if you are saying that Ted Ginn can single-handedly make up a 27 point defecit than too much of the offense rests on his shoulders. The Gators had eight different players touch the ball on their first two drives. The depth of their receiving corps is amazing (Baker, Caldwell, Cornelius, Harvin, Ingram), and the absence of any of these would not result in a four touchdown loss.

Plus, Troy Smith the "Heisman Trophy winner," was atrocious. He had 34 yards passing, and six yards of total offense. As the leader of the #1 ranked team in the nation, you cannot perform like this and expect to come remotely close, especially when your defense allows 39+ points for the second straight game. Everyone talks about how good this team is, but when you can't hold a top five team to under 35 points, you don't deserve to win a national championship (by the way, Texas is not a top five team).

To say that the ref made unfair calls is just making excuses. Sure, maybe there were a few controversial calls, but they went both ways. Had the game been within one possession, or had the Buckeyes been robbed like Chris Leak was at Auburn, then you might have an argument, but neither of these were the case.

I'm a huge Buckeye fan, and I must say that your assertions are ridiculous.

Ted Ginn may have helped on offense, but Troy didn't have time to set up for a pass (Ted couldn't help with that, the front line was horrible). Plus, the OSU defense was completely inept, and since Ted Ginn doesn't play defense, he couldn't have helped there.

To say that the refs were payed to make unfair calls is just sour grapes. Look, the Buckeyes didn't play, Florida did, end of the story.

I am an OSU fan and I agree that the PAC-10 officiating crew was biased, but, my friend, The Ohio State University flat out sucked last night. The way the offensive line played, it could have been Joe Montana and Jerry Rice and it still would be the same outcome and my Pop Warner team could have found seams in the milk toast defense. OSU got beat, fair and square. Troy Smith/Ted Ginn?PAC-10 officiating would not have stopped anything that happened last night. We sucked and UF didn't. Congrats to them.

OSU woulda gotten the asses handed to them with or without Ginn; probably wouldn't have lost by as much, but they still would have lost.

Yeah Ginn getting hurt sucked, OSU obviously needed him, but I think the refs were fair. The better team won; get over it.

1, Bummed about the loss
2, So sad the season had to end this way.
3, No Ted Ginn Jr. injury did not cost us the game.
4, The refs did suck, also they did not cost us the game.
5 Gators where ready to play, Buckeyes where not, end of story.

I wasnt happy with some of the ref's calls, but it would not have changed anything, and having Teddy Ginn not hurt wouldnt have helped out the D, Ohio St got whupped and it was a sad day in Ohio, and neither the Refs nor TG would have changed the outcome

I was bummed about Ted Ginn, and the refs had some questionable calls excpectly that one TD by the Gators, either way the Gators out played the Bucks.

You OSU fans are the biggest babies, You're going to blame the 41-14 loss on the refs. You guys are pathetic, just admit that you weren't as good as you thought you were. Florida will beat you up and down any time and day. Ted Ginn would not have prevented troy smith from getting sacked 5 times. Yall are such BABIES! Go home with your tail between your legs and lick your wounds. You got beat on all sides of the ball and you were OUTCOACHED!!!!

haha leave the crying to yourself. You got dominated by Florida in all areas of the game. The refs had nothing to do with it. And Ginn doesn't make up 27 points.
