This is a tough one. I like both...for different reasons. April Wine...wow, brings back memories. "Nature of the Beast" was a great album. I wish I hadn't sold my vinyls now...I want to hear it again. But I like Styx, too. They had alot of great songs plus they're my hometown boys. I have to say Styx. Sorry.

Gowan is cool if he's still with Styx, but the band sucks. April Wine used to play at our high school dances and they're still cool.

I love Styx! I especially love their song called Babe. I had a boyfriend during the time that was out/popular, and that was 'our' song.
