My right thumb covers the left one and it's been like that for as far as I can remember. (I'm right-handed.) I guess it's partly to cover the scar on the body of my left thumb. But I also heard somebody say some 23 years back that when one's right thumb is dominant (on top), it means the person is basically good in English, Math or anything that requires logical thinking. If the left thumb is dominant, however, it means the person is more inclined to the arts, music and other creative pursuits.

I am right handed and my Left Thumb is on top... it feels weird the other way... hmm... wonder why?

I do it so that they are intertwined but my right thumb is over my left. (im right handed)
