Ripken never won a batting title.
He did, however, win numerous other awards such as:
1982-American League-Rookie of the Year
1983-Major League Player of the Year
1983-American League-MVP
1991-All Star Game MVP
1991-Major League Player of the Year
1991-American League-MVP
1992-Lou Gehrig Memorial Award
1992-Roberto Clemente Award
2001-All Star Game MVP
He also won the numerous Silver Slugger Awards:
1983, 1984, 1985, 1986, 1989,1991, 1993, 1994
...and two Gold Gloves
in 1991 and 1992.
The afformentioned reference to him "winning" batting titles in '83, '84' and '91 were actually references to seasons in which he finished in the top 10 in batting average.
You're welcome!

Zero, Zip, Nada.
He shouldn't have won the Rookie of the Year award either, that should have gone to Kent Hrbek of the Minnesota Twins. Ripkens later awards were all deserved
