The law always favours the woamn I am afraid. My wfe is an alcoholic and she battered me last Christmas - perforated my eardrum. I pushed her over in pain and rage and she called the police. Guess who was turfed out of his house.
The only suggestion I have is to get a name at social services and bombard them with evidence - photos names etc. make sure the named person knows this will all go to the papers.
Good luck

This is such a sad case as the children would be much better off with their dad and his family. I would just hang on in there and keep on at the social services, if she is an alcholic something will happen eventually but lets hope its nothing bad to the children. She is probably hanging on to them for the extra money she gets for having them with her. I wish you all the best of luck and hope things work out ok for you all. Dont forget the children are getting older all the time, eventually they will be able to decide for themselves who they want to live with. You sound a terrific sister to be so concerned all stick together something will happen soon.

I think that these government appointed child protection services are really difficult to navigate. Its like that in Australia as well. Decisions that are made by beaucrats just dont make sense. The services here are slowly trying to pin point problem areas but realy it takes time. Just keep plodding along soonre hopefully than later the penny will drop to these government decision makers and it will sort itself out. I am sorry to hear about the upheaval for the children.

No way. I lease a room in my homestead and performance grew to grow to be away a lot of human beings for this and different causes. they don't like it, yet difficult cookies. i have also realized that even a convalescing alcoholic might want to be very puzzling to stay with. those who're prepared to attach with alcoholics are enablers. you are able to't rescue someone who places booze in the previous each little thing else of their life. the in consumer-friendly words thanks to help an alcoholic is to stay at arm's length so that you're literally not getting sucked into the vortex.

I think you need to go back to court. Demand home visits. The surprise kind. Then they'll see her for what she's worth. And you should prevail.
