This is not a healthy relationship. He hurts you physically. On top of that, he starts dating while he's married to you? Don't ask him. Just file for divorce yourself and make sure a restraining order is in there.

Sometimes love means you have to let go.

you don't need to ask him anything . go to the legal aid society and they will help you get a low or no cost divorce because you have a domestic violence case . once you got that you are free and clear. and get some self respect how can you love a man that has beat you to the point where he had to go to jail. it's crazy get yourself out of that problem and find some help for yourself there are plenty of groups and agency that will help you get it back together. good luck

Are u crazy? He beats his wife and is in jail and you want to talk to him? Get a lawyer, pay and break free of him. Don't make any contact. He had a girlfriend? And that is ok with you? You say you still love him...how can you if he doesn't even respect you. Sounds like you need the help.

If you can not come up with the money to pay a lawyer then do it yourself.

It is cheaper to go and get the book make copy of the form you will need to file, and then fell it out your self and be your own lawyer, instead of paying the big fee's. I done it for one of my sister in law and for one of my husband nephews.
You only have to pay court cost and small fee.

You can get the book at books a million and most likely at the library to find the forms and then file them out and get it over with.

you need to find a good man to treat you the way you deserve to be treated. No woman needs a man who hurts her. There are way to many fish in the sea to put up with a lemon! Get out there and find a good man who will treat right!

You have a lot of issues and I know its not easy.

I just want to say one thing though. Statistics show that if your husband was violent against you it will happen again. Its only a matter of time.

If you can live with that, stay married. If you can't, do something about it.
