You didn't give any reasons as to the transaction. So no one can tell you where you went wrong without any more details.

9 times out of 10, a deal that requires valuation and definition of property takes weeks to close. Chances are, the people that bought the company approached them months beforehand.

Also, because of the nature of the transaction, the previous owners may have thought that the other party would be easier to deal with. Lawsuits, fees, fines, and permits may arise with the closing of a deal like this. If an unprepared party is chosen, a deal may be mired for months with red tape.

The most obvious answer is that the other party simply had a better offer than you did.

If you talk like the way you just wrote that question on here then that might be the problem. It helps to know proper grammer when trying to run or buy a business. Other then that I don't know any details so can't help more then that.

Maybe because "where did i went wrong" is not proper English

If you want to sound professional at least learn how to speak better.

Someone had a better offer or closed the deal before you could.
