i recieved a bag as a present years back and i now want to sell in on ebay. i dont know how to price it due to the fact i don't know if it is real or pleather. if you could help me, i would sure appreciate it.

You should be able to tell by the smell.

well leather wont go up like a match if you hold a lighter under it, course not sure if pleather is the same way and if your trying to sell it it probably wouldn't be a good ideal to see if it burns.

Try to take it to a specialized shop and ask them to tell you if it's real leather. Or take it to a factory that works with real leather, if you know any near your city.
