Can I turn a piece of glass into a mirror? I have a great picture frame with glass I'd like to turn into a mirror, if possible... Is there some kind of easy treatment or spray that will do this, or am I better off getting a piced of mirror cut to size?

Just looked on the web and found these sites. They look promising.

Well you could contact a local glass shop around you to see if they can do it. But the process of creating a mirror is not easy. First the glass is cleaned, duh, then is sprayed on with an activator, then silver, then copper, then two or three coats of paint. Its not at all commercially viable to do it at home. But try contacting a local glass shop, not an auto glass shop, but one that specializes in pane glass. They may be able to do it for you, or at thevery least point you in the right direction. I would suggest just getting a mirror cut to the exact size you want. Oh you know, try this site on how to do this yourself....

i always heard that if you spray the back of the glass or one side of the glass with black that it would turn it into a mirror.
