I need to buy certain not so common fabrics however I can't buy in a wholesale market as my requirements are for 5 mts or less and I don't want to spend a packet by trying out the usual markets like GK, South Ex, etc. Where can I get these specialised fabrics cheaply??

I've already tried markets like Central Market, Lajpat Nagar, etc. No luck. I need to get a little unusual fabrics. Karol Bagh is too big tried some places but no luck there too. If anyone has a specific place in mind it would help. I need to get these fabrics cheaply, I can get them at exhorbitant rates in GK, and South-Ex, but I'm looking for a good deal.

Hi Gayathri... I am sure its not easy to get what you are looking for. I tried to do a search for you, but could not conjure up something specific.

What I do have is a few links from where you might be able to get what you want by contacting them.

http://www.gyans.com/

You might also want to contact the organisers of the New Delhi Garment expo'06 and check with them about the list of the participants. Am sure you will get some seller details from them.
Check the following link for that

(From the way you say you dont want to buy in bulk, it is clear that you probably have come across the wholesale sellers more than the retail ones)

Sorry, couldnt do much more than that!

Don't make fun of me, but you can try EBay. I've seen some beautiful fabrics there, but I've never actually ordered, so I can't say what the quality is like.
