Don't put anything of quality in the dishwasher, it's a pain, but always hand wash anything you value. For other glassware and dishes, generally a product like Jet Dry will work. For stubborn haze, try using Effordent (the stuff people with false teeth use). In a deep bowl or smallish bucket, add 4-5 of the tablets to about a gallon of hot water. Put your glasses in the water and let them soak for about 30 minutes. (This will work on flower vases too.) Sometimes the haze is too badly etched into the glass so you just have to deal with it or buy new glassware. Good luck!

I have haze as well and have tried this so called "jet dry"... Don't waste your money on it. I still have haze after using several similar products, all claiming to rid haze from our life... what a crock of crap !! I have come to to realize that I put nothing of importance in the dishwasher and haze (like shlt) happens.

: )

Happy washing!

The haze is film from your detergent. Try a rinse aid like Jet Dry.

Rinse aid is used to prevent 'spotting' on glassware caused by insoluble deposits left behind on surfaces by droplets of water that dry by evaporation. Rinse aid contains surfactants that prevent droplet formation by reducing the surface tension of the water, so that it drains from the surfaces in thin sheets, rather than forming droplets.
