i agree with the first answer but it also depends on how much u're going to pay for it. if they give u a good price, i don't see why it can't work out good for you

The Processor is four generations behind (meaning very old), the memory is OKAY but just so, I'd be looking for 1GB to 2GB, is the DVD drive a DVDRW or just a DVD-Rom, if it's just a DVD-Rom then it too is inadequate... Asus mobo, which is just as old as the processor and probably can't support 2GB of memory... 1GB may be pushing it... the graphics card is ancient... and the hard drive is tiny... I think I have a collection of movies that takes up more than 40GB...

Is it a good system for my needs... no, not by a long shot. Is it good enough for your needs... only you can answer that. If you want my general opinion, that computer is too old to be of any real use in today's world. About all it is good for is basic internet access and office applications, it will do good at that.

Is it a good system, I'm leaning towards no but you have to look at what applications you are/will run on it. If you want to know how much you could sell it for... $50 to $100... maybe less... maybe slightly more but not much.
