Is it worth the risk?

That's not nice. Sometimes people need help and sometimes things or a situation happens that is outside of their control, If you know this person to be an honest person then I would definitely loan them the money depending on the circumstances. To often, we allow a good thing to end over money and we shouldn't. I've loaned money to a dear friend of mine that was over $150.00 and I got all of the monies back to me. Again, it all depends on how well you know your friend. Don't make something bad over something as little as money remember, your time will come too sooner or later. Now, I do agree, if this person is not trustworthy, then no, I wouldn't.

It's a proven fact - the fastest way to lose a friend is to loan them money or move in with them. Sure sometimes it turns out different, but it really isn't worth taking the chance.

no...I've learned this the hard way.

I mean if it's like anywhere between 10 to 50 dollars then it's ok....but anything above that you might want to think twice.
