Hmm, to be honest no, but unlike those above who seem to think that "we have to tough it out cos that's what being an adult is all about" I take a different approach.

I love my job. That was a choice I made. I could have done a different one and ended up with more money but less happiness in my day to day life. But I figured that if I was going to spend a large proportion of my life working I'd better do something I liked.

As a consequence my life is quite fun. As a consequence of that I do find time now and again to do other stuff in my day that also is fun.

But, I have had to go through some rubbish to get where I am now. If you feel your life is a bit dull but can see light at the end of the tunnel then keep at it. If not, change it.

Luck and laughter.

Sometimes that seems like that is all there is time for. What about watching a movie to unwind in the evening. Or, there are always books, games, art museums, historical museums, music, concerts, shopping, hiking, bird watching, collecting etc. Maybe you could adopt a specific hobby. I like writing and scrapbooking in my freetime. My husband likes to watch sports and has a lot of computer projects to keep him busy. I have no idea if this is what you were thinking, but those are my ideas.

I work 2 jobs Monday through Friday. My first job (career) is M-F 9-5 & on Mon, Tue. & Thurs night Im a server (for spending money) in a resturant.
I get up @ 6:30, do P.T. for about an hour & a half, go to work, get off work, go to work, get off of work.... You know what makes me feel better about it all?
The fact that I know my son is going to better off than I was & sex.
You can either have a kid (which I dont recomend it unless youve found "the one" & is ready for it financially & mentally) or get a booty call (I recommend the Booty Call)

Oh no there is so much more out there in this world. So many things to do and to discover and to have done to you. When you think about all the things that are on offer today, there has never been a better time to live than today. I work to live, not live to work.

If you don't have alot of time, find a simple hobby. But if you have alot of free time, there is lots of things you can do. Play some poker, go out, go to the gym, join a dart team or bowling league, etc. You get what I'm saying?

I feel your pain. Try reading, or going on walks or hikes, get a dog or find some other hobby. Also, try to think of places you want to go see locally (i.e. the zoo, nearby caves or arcades, local breweries) and try to find something to do at least once a week outside your home, even if its to go see a show.

Prioritise your time so you can get out more.

Failing that check out some of the places where you can have an Innocent chat with other people on line.

Its up to you and your motivation

do outdoor activities. become a mentor. get involved in the arts. write a novel. there's so much to do in this world. even if you're not interested in something, you should explore it... you never know if you might discover a new passion. =)

best of luck to you.
