If says dry clean only, follow these directions. It is not worth the gamble of ruining it if you clean it yourself. Jackets should be cleaned once a year, unless it gets something on it, so the cost of cleaning is minimal compared to the cost of replacement.

Nope. Any leather in the wash, meaning in water will get ruined. However, there are products you can buy at Walmart that I remember my mom buying to clean suede. But if I recall, its actually easier for you, and much more cost effective to just take it to a dry cleaner and have it professionally done. I'll try to post a link of the product I was talking about....

Oh, ok... Try looking for this stuff if you REALLY wanna do it at home. Try Walmart, K-Mart or Target or even your local BIG grocery store.

Suede is one of those materials that loses color extremely easily, hence weather-proofing it or when you do dry clean it, they have to remove the color, clean, then reapply the color, which is why it's so expensive. But, it's worth it, most anything else will ruin it.

no. you should take it to the dry cleaner. it is cheaper than buying a whole new coat if when you screw up the other one by putting it in the wash.

You could do this but then it would shrink to fit a little person and all the suede would get hard and it would be stiff, like it is starched. But then again it is yours for you to do with as you please.....

Only if you're tired of it and wish to ruin it.
Take it to the cleaners.
