Being homeless is a very unfortunate situation and has a great affect not only on oneself, but others and society in general. What are the affects homelessness or being homeless have on a person, whether they be an adult or child? How does being without a home affect the faimily and society? As I said earlier, homelessness is a horrible situation to be in, but for many people it is a reality. I would greatly appreciate any thoughts or words of wisdom you would care to share.

Being homeless brings on a feeling of hopelessness, despair, hunger, humility, anger and a lot of frustration. The system does not work and it seems no one cares. There are those who do care but can't help all, funds and space is always a problem and so many of the homeless are drug addicts and they take up more of the resources than just the ones who are poor or old or ill. So every chance you can give what you can to your local centers for the homeless, cash is best so that they can buy what they really need. Just a few bucks a month from each of us will help so much, so help change the system and help those in need.
