I don't think so. My mom was telling me about this story. She said that a rep for Disney was on Access Holllywood last night and the guy in the Tigger suit stated that the 14 year old kid was pulling on the back of the costume and it was choking him. That swing was to try and remove him, nothing more.
You can see that the guy lifted his right arm to try and reach his own neck, but couldn't because the kid had his arm across his back. Poor tigger could only reach around with the other hand.
If I were in Tigger's outfit and wanted to intentionally hit this kid, none of you would be speculating if it were an accident or not.

If you look at the video you can see the kid did something behind "Tigger" and "Tigger" grab his own throat first then shoved the kid. I truly think that this Dad is going overboard and I hate to say it I think he is only looking for money. What he should be doing is having a good old talk with his kid who had such a smug look on his face (that kid knew he was pissing off the poor guy). As a parent of three teenagers I would be pissed at my kid and make the kid apologize to "Tigger". I hope the poor guy does not lose his job.

A lot of theme parks have "guards" for each character to keep people from doing stuff like that... Disney doesn't believe in that for some reason; the characters are on their own, but may leave the park at any time if they feel threatened. I think the poor guy in the Tigger suit was getting hassled by some punk and did what he had to to get him off. If it had been unprovoked the kid would've gotten upset... he just looked embarrassed to me.

Looks like the kid provoked poor Tigger. I think he was pulling on the costume or something but we couldn't see it. So Tigger used one arm to knock the kid away and the other to "disarm" the kid.

It become actual blown out of share. first of all, the guy's from New Hampshire - so am I - he's loopy. His son that have been given hit had to be a minimum of 17. I observed the pictures this morning. He got here into the image and to me it appears that evidently like Tigger in basic terms reached around to push him off of him or out of ways. I think of the youngster become making clever *** feedback approximately being in a image with Tigger, via fact the greater youthful childrens interior the kin have been already posing with him, so while the youngster ultimately walked over to get interior the image and he tried to place his arm around Tigger, Tigger tried to push him away. It appeared like he tried to push the youngster away and his hand slipped upward in the direction of the youngster's head via fact the youngster does no longer circulate. the youngster is a frickin' teenager, in all danger very virtually 18. there is not any way Tigger's padded paw harm that youngster. He actual did no longer take an obtrusive swing, or something. it quite is humorous, 'reason on tape they have the dad speaking to his son asserting, "did it harm?!" And the youngster pauses as though he's conscious it did no longer harm and could experience like a pansy on television asserting "yeah, it harm." So he says, "properly, i ought to experience it even however he had a padded paw." the youngster is conscious his dad's blowing issues out of share. The dad's for sure in basic terms attempting to get interior the information and get some money from the employer. it quite is pathetic.

I think the kid provoked it. If you looked at the video, it looks like the kid is smiling as he goes to grab something behind tigger.. most likely his tail! And it's been said that his tail is attached to his "twig and berries" (from wtmx 101.9 in chicago)
