Sociology is one of those interesting degrees like Psychology that doesn't lead to any jobs until you get the the PhD level. A Bachelor Degree means your capable of learning a batch of information, so you'll be qualified for one of the many jobs that ask for a degree but don't really care what it's in. Personally I'd go for something else unless I was sure that I was going to continue for a higher degree. It's my understand that the most common use of even the PhD in Sociology is teaching.
Good Luck!

Other than something in the social services field, a BA in sociology is worthless in today's job market. If you have a degree in nursing and are a registered nurse, or a computer scientist, then you have something to boast about.

Someone asks this question at least once a day.
You can possibly get a low level caseworker job, or work at Walmart, McDonalds, or a hot-dog stand. You would be better off with a social work degree, preferably a masters degree.

Nothing, get a social work degree or plan for nothing in particular.
A degree is good, though, just for liberal arts, you know?

Why even consider a degree if you have no idea what kind of job you will get? Seems senseless to me. RESEARCH IT!!!!!
