Yes, check with your doctor. He will advise you of how much is too much. My doctor has me drink at least 1 can of soda a day b/c I suffer from severe migraines. I can't take my normal daily migraine medicine while pregnant, the caffeine helps control the headaches

my doc said that you can drink regular coke, nothing with the label of diet on it, and she said not to drink more then 4 cans a day. i was a HUGE coke fan before i got pregnant so it was really hard for me, sometimes i would go over, but my baby is completely healthy. i cant say NOT to drink any because i did, but i would just watch how much you drink. if you normally drink alot it will be hard, specally when you are craving something sweet. but its do able, i only drink like 2 or 3 cans of coke within a 2 day period now.

caffeine consumed in high amounts (500 miligrams) increases the amount of time a fetus spends active and may cause a decrease in fetus birth wieght and head circumference. Best advice is to avoid caffine containing foods and drugs or keep your intake below 200 milligrams a day. BTW coffee is about 80 and soda is about 36milgrm.

Well just a can of coke a day, no caffine and don't go overboard.
Try finding a healthy alternative such as water and definitly drink milk. Also eat healthy and have lots of fruits and veggies to nuture the baby.

Yes, but it is recommended that you not drink more than one cup of coffee's worth of caffeine a day. However, coke was the one thing I couldn't sacrifice while pregnant. I drank coke like I always did and my baby is just fine.

Whatever you drink, so does the kid. Remember that. Hence Fetal Alcohol Syndrome.
As far as caffiene, it has been linked to colic in children. Basically, the child's nervous system is engineered to like caffiene if you're drinking it while pregnant. You know that headache you get when you havent got your coffee this morning? Well imagine that without being able to grab a tylenol and your only outlet is to scream your head off.....

Yes you can have some caffeine during pregnancy, but in limited amounts. They recommend no more than 3 cups of coffee per day (less than 300 milligrams).

You can have some but it should be limited to two caffeine drinks a day I believe. Excess caffiene is detrimental to the weight of the baby.
