Don't know about skinnys, but trunks are swimming shorts, and I just looked up a waspie on Google for another question, and it's a type of corset.
Just Googled skinnys, and it's a small t-shirt.

Skinny's is a skinny rib t-shirt.
A waspie is an elastic belt with a clip at the front, like the ones that nurses wear. Used to be reallllly trendy about 18 years ago.
Trunks are like speedo swimming trunks.

Waspies are nasty little insects that sting you in summer.

I think waspies are like half way between a suspender belt and a corset.
Trunks are mens swimming shorts but the expression is now being used for underpants that are like boxer shorts but tighter fitting.

waspies are corsets that start from the waist and end under the bust line , usually boned, or part elasticated wide belt aprox anything from 6'' to 10'' wide with leather or plastic with lacing or traditional corset hook and eye.there are so many modern variations of the corset , the waspie is just one of them.

well in the us.... skinnys are really tight straight jeans.... dont know what waspies are though.... sorry......and uh trunks are guys swimming shorts.
