One of my favorite funny movies is one called Heartbreakers (2001) with Sigourney Weaver, Jennifer Love Hewitt and Gene Hackman.
It's got so many funny parts in it. The only negative of it was Jennifer Love Hewitt's character, she just made her such an unlikable person, that I just couldn't click with her character at all. And Jason Lee's character really needed some help to fall in love with someone who treated him that way.
All in all though, it's really funny and when I show it to friends they really like it too. Sigourney Weaver and Gene Hackman steal the show!!

There a lot of funny movies out there, but when you consider the jokes, for hillarious ones you should check the old classics movies by the zucker brothers e.g. Airplane, Naked gun, Top secret or even scary movie 3 etc.
Or if you want funny movies with a true story line you can always check animated movies like madagascar and happy feet.

Young Frankenstein with Gene Wilder is one of the all time funny films. It won an award the year it came out for funniest film. Sherlock Holmes Smarter Brother with Gene Wilder. is really funny and original. There was one with Richard Pryer years ago where he played a farmer that went to work in the big city and left his wife back home. When he came back home, she had the idea city foke were sophisticated from reading magazines, so she tried to please him with far-out sexual technics etc. I fell off my chair at the theater. I don't remember the name of it though.

Blazing Saddles, Spaceballs, History of the World Part 1 - all by Mel Brooks, and they get funnier every time you watch them
Rat Race - all-star cast and just get sillier as it moves along
Planes, Trains and Automobiles - one of the all-time best movie meltdowns EVER.
