THEY blame him for everything and I have no doubt he is responsible for some extremely heinous crimes. But, what is his agenda..? What is it he is trying to achieve..? A Muslim perspective would be appreciated.

this is a very important question and one that i asked on here ages ago only to have answers of 'to kill everyone' and 'because he's evil' etc. But cmon every terrorist group has an ultimate aim, and the very fact we seem to be unaware of what his is is very strange in itself (considering we (assuming you are from the UK or US) are funding this expensive war against him). I will use the IRA as an example, everyone knew their goals, so why is al quaida (spelt wrong i know, so sue me) so mysterious? So far there have been 2 legitimate answers on here (im sure u can see which ones they are) but both are vastly different and contridictory. I have no idea myself but applaud you for opening your eyes and at least trying to find out the truth.

another pay cheque from th C.I.A .

he isnt trying to achieve anything and yeah the bu$h & blair cabal blame him and al qaeda for everything from explosions to the price of bread ! all you have to do is a little research and stop believing the rubbish that falls from the media and government mouths ,you only have to scratch the surface to find out what is actually going on and it isnt whats on the news .
everytime a bomb goes off its blamed on al qaeda and what happens next , new laws limiting OUR freedom are put into place
which means whoever planted the bomb has scored a point , think about it the only ones who benefit from these events are the governments by reducing our freedoms and implementing new draconian laws .
when the i.r.a were blowing up london the government and the countries stance was not to change our way of life , if we do the terrorists have had a victory yet with blair at the helm we are all guilty until proven innocent and therefor have to have our every move monitored ,photographed ,fingerprinted etc

His stated agenda is:

1. Foreign troops out of Saudi Arabia. He considers their presence a defilement of "holy lands."

2. An end of foreign support of regimes in the Middle East that he considers corrupt.

3. A base price of at least $100/barrel for oil, with the majority of the profits being distributed to the people of the oil producing countries.

He also has some secondary, regional agendas. But, the three listed are the primary ones that concern the U.S. and its allies.

American policies at times seem a bit dicy. They make their favourites and then dump them!! One minute they love you next minute they dump you. Osama like Mussharaff today was once the heart throb of the Americans. The Americans dumped him..he got a broken heart..he needs quick fix to stick the pieces together. Instead of doing this Americans insulted him. Whether he is alive or not, other peoples' DVD plays his video and scares the hell out of the Americans and send s them to "The Bush".
One day Mussharraff will also become Osama. Using his name as the scape goat via fear psychosis USA will capture other countries' oil or energy or mineral reserves. These techniques are taught in University of Washington DC, White House. It is time the Americans stop using cowboy technology and become followers of Mahatama Gandhi or Martin Luther King. Even Poodles from smaller contries will be trained accordingly

He is a patsy (someone being used to take the blame for someone else). Did you know he is not even on the 'most wanted' list, because apparently there is 'no hard evidence' linking him to 9/11?

http://www.fbi.gov/wanted/topten/fugitives/laden.htm

Apparently he is wanted for the 'bombings of the US Embassy in 1998' but there is no mention of 9/11 - the worst terrorist attack in world history.

http://www.prisonplanet.com/articles/august2006/280806binladen.htm

And did you know Bush isn't even interested in finding him? Those were his words, on two separate occasions!!

If you tell the public they have an external enemy they will follow you anywhere. Bin Laden has not even been officially proven guilty of 9/11 yet, some 5 years on. For all we know he could have had hardly anything to do with it, or even be dead.

I don't know too much about it, indeed only what we are told, but to me there is something very strange about the whole thing.

on the official record
To Rid US involvement in the middle east and to rid the holy places Mekka and Jerusalem of all infidels
Off the official record
To fill his pockets
To make a name for himself in the history books.

After all he is a multi billionaire who's riches continue to grow and who sends others to their death for HIS cause. I seriously believe that he isn't so convinced of the holy principles he preaches, otherwise he would be the first one on a plane to crash himself into somewhere. He wouldn't use other naive victims who believe that it's done for Gods good grace

He wants the western world to keep out of the affairs of the middle east. He also thinks the USA wants to get rid of Islam.

That said, I still think Bin Laden should roast in hell

1) destrustion of Israel (the most important)
2) USA to stop its support for Israel(part of 1)
3) USA to get its military and civilian population out of middle east.
In his eyes we have no right to be in his holy land. In the eyes of his religion we are worthless. Also Muslims who don't see the world his way are also mad. He has also criticized mulim terrorist in palesting as being to soft on Israel and giving in to the west. He is filled with hate.........

4) the end game is his view of Islam controlling the world. First it need to start with control of middle east.
