Yahoo answers is for you to ask your question and hope you get a logical answer. That said, when you post a question in homework help, you are asking the readers for help not for a ghost writer. I'm sure there are those idiots out there trolling for their 2 points, but for the most part those who want to help will, providing you ask nicely.
A question that is phrased, "Hi, I've just started a new chapter in math, and I really don't understand it. Here is a sample question, can anyone explain how I am supposed to do it?" will garner a whole lot more effective responses than "Plz I really really really really need help with my math??????" in which they then list the 10 problems and ask for the answers.
Did you see the difference there? The first question asked for an example of how to do the homework, the second asked for a completed assignment. Try looking at different questions and how they are phrased, I'm willing to bet you'll find that those who ask for help in understanding the topic and ask for an example, or who provide a sample of their own work for diagnosis get more responses both in quantity and quality.
You can catch more flies with honey than vinegar. If you want help phrase it as a help question. If you want a rude response ask someone to completely do the work for you. Kids are getting a lot of what you seem to think are rude comments on answers simply because many are too lazy to bother phrasing their question in actual English, or even spend the time researching what turn out to be easy questions. If you are savvy enough to figure out how to post a question here, then surely you must know how to use Google!?!

I have noticed that some people do post rude, sarcastic remarks all over "Yahoo Answers", not just in "Homework". I don't understand why people bother wasting their time doing this. On the other hand, if people express their disgust over someone asking for the answers to an entire test or for a full essay, I don't blame them. There is nothing wrong with helping with homework, but you can't do someone else's homework.

Depending on the type of homework help, I suppose the amount of rudeness involved varies. We aren't going to do all the work for you. I believe that's PLAGIARISM. However, there are plenty of people who are willing to help to a certain extent. Since you're seeking homework help, it's best to start a study group with others in your class or to do your homework together. That way you can discuss the questions and have a full understanding. If that fails, you can always tell your teacher you tried your best. Teachers usually understand. They aren't the awful creatures many think them to be!

I could be wrong, but I understand that this section is for people who need help understanding a concept or asking where they can find good sources of information. I don't think it was designed for lazy kids who want strangers to do their homework for them. If you ask someone to write an essay for you or to complete your math homework, you will probably get a rude answer.

I undoubtedly trust you approximately impolite solutions to a few questions. Some men and women are so disrespectful and out-correct judgmental, while answering questions. I feel a few Yahoo customers don't have anything greater to do all day, however to take a seat there and be a intelligent-a** and reply questions within the rudest manner viable. It is so immature and pointless. Most of them are often lonely and think down on themselves, and it makes them think greater approximately themselves to be imply, which is gloomy. I recognize plenty of men and women are particularly watching for honest and reliable solutions. But I appear at it this fashion, there's regularly going to be anyone that's going to have anything unhealthy or impolite to mention. That is solely how men and women are, and I don't suppose that's going to difference. I desire you reporting them makes a change. I haven't pronounced anybody for the reason that I didn't suppose it could do any well.

If someone is asking a specific question that they are having problems with, then I have no problem helping them. There are people who think that this is a paper writing service or ask people to do their entire assignments for them. I once saw a question where someone wanted a 50-100 word essay IN FRENCH. As far as people answering rudely, sometimes telling someone to "do it yourself" is the best help that they can get. When someone asks for a ready-made essay, they are not asking for "help", they are asking for someone to do the work for them.

Because homework is usually for you to do yourself. People expect you to have the resources to solve any problems you may be having with your homework. Resources such as a textbook, a schoolmate, your teacher, or your parents. Therefore it's not appreciated seeing yet another homework question on Yahoo Answers because we assume you're just trying to take the easy way out by having someone else do your homework.

I usually check out Chemistry Homework Help because I'm a chemist. When someone posts a question "Name all the elements and post there initials", I don't answer. If I do, it's "GO TO THE FREAKIN' LIBRARY AND LOOK IT UP " !

I would say that is annoying when people arent asking for help they are asking for others to do the work for them. I have seen people basicall ask for a 200 word essay with all thse specifics. They just want to sit back and let others do the work. That is annoying. If you truely just need help or to be pointed in the right direction i would definately help. Jsut dont abuse the privilige ya know? :)

I think it is because there is a difference between giving HELP with homework and DOING the homework.
