Awww...you know what? A cheater is a cheater is a cheater! The 'other woman' soon finds this out, just as the wife does. The guy is a L-O-S-E-R. Constant interactions with people involved in his infidelity will drag you down. Steer clear and get on with your life. You will NOT heal if you stay involved. Get away from everything about him, and start fresh. You MUST do this. Time WILL heal, but you need to take steps, too. Best of luck!

Some people who are divorcing tend to do things that just do not make sense. This is due to their hurt, and sometimes confused, emotional state. The perceived need to call his former girlfriend will fade quickly after the divorce is over. And, your feeling that you "just want to wake up and it all be over" is shared almost universally by people going through a divorce. Hang in there and good luck.

I had a friend who found out that her bf cheated on her and her and the girl became friends as long as she did not know about you then she was probably hurt by him as well and you two can now hang out and bash him all night and that probably makes you both feel better but if she knew about you when she was dating him I would leave her alone because she is as bad as he is

I'm so sorry my dear....but you need to stop talking to her. I know you might feel like if you know everything, that you'll feel better, but you won't. You'll dwell, and that's not good for you. You will also never be able to tell if she's telling the truth or if she's lying to hurt him.
Stop talking to the both of them, and go out and live a fabulous life....that's the best revenge of all!

You can relate to her because your husband (the cheating git) lied to you both - it may seem strange but in a way he cheated her too as she thought you had split up.

You keep talking to her because you both have something in common... Him. He hurt both of you and you both find solace in each other. Work through it however you have to.
