The ratings went from fabulous to horrible over its four-year run. A network won't keep a show with low ratings on the air, of course.

Not enough viewers - poor ratings. It started with like 10 million viewers and now it's down to 4 million.

because it started to suck! I used to love the show, but I heard that they changed writers and boy, could we all tell. And besides, alot of people stopped watching after marrissa died.

the ratings have gone down. ever since mishca(sp) barton left the show, they lost alot of viewers. people seemed to love her character "marissa cooper"
