Aside from the obvious psychological reasons, it is speculated that she committed suicde while he was on tour in 2004 because she could not handle the pressure of their new lifestyle.

I wondered the same thing. I was listening to a radio show right after it happended and they said they had small children and he was gone most of the time and that she had mental problems and suffered from post partum(spelling).

It is said that she suffered from years of depression and had been suffereing from severe migraines. They did have 6 children from previous marriages.
