-click on Start > Run
type the following (ther are additional spaces after \ to make them display on this page, you can skip them while typing)

press ok, Follow the on-screen instructions, after completion double-click IE to check that IE6 is working.

You only need to do a search on here to see how many people are having problems with IE7. The best thing to do is download Mozilla Firefox available from http://www.mozilla.com/ Its faster, more user friendly, easily customisable to suit your needs and no problems.

This is a very popular question today.
Go to you control panel. Select Add/Remove Programs. Remove IE 7 and then you can re-instal IE 6. I would not recommend doing this as Microsoft will stop support IE 6 soon and therefore it will be filled with security vulnerabilites.
