Bill cosby talks openly about the lazy blacks who don't want to educate their kids and keep them out of trouble...But look at how he was attacked by the blacks for that. I guess they are afraid of retaliation by the blacks.....it's a crazy thing!
I personally hate how Jesse Jackson pokes his nose in every situation concerning blacks...

THIS ONE IS FOR TINA. I don't think being a minority makes you a victim of anything except numbers. The only things I can think of that are truly discriminatory are things like the United ***** College Fund, Jet Magazine, Black Entertainment Television, and Miss Black America. Try to have things like the UnitedCaucasianCollege Fund, Cloud Magazine, White Entertainment Television, or Miss White America; and see what happens...Jesse Jackson will be knocking down your door.
When 70% of the people who get arrested are black, in cities where 70% of the population is black, that is not racial profiling, it is the Law of Probability.

Unfortunately when they do, they are a) ignored by the media, and b) immediately labelled "Oreo", "Uncle Tom" or race traitor by those with a vested interest in perpetuating a black "victim culture".
Unfortunately people with the backbone (and the power) to speak up--like Bill Cosby-- are few and far between, which gives the false impression that people like Jackson and Sharpton speak for ALL black people.

Personally, I like Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson. I admire how African-Americans try to stand up for themselves and take this stuff seriously. Racism is ugly and unfair. Slavery was unfair. What has been done to lift the economic burdens of poverty, racism and inequality? Nothing, really. That said, I am not a fan of the Black Power movement, though it was clearly a response to conditions and state policy. The leadership could have focused on community involvement, civil rights and social issues.

it's not a code. plenty of blacks speak out against JJ and AL. They write books. In fact, Cosby got a lot of heat for speaking out. However
1. non blacks are used to seeing JJ as the voice of black America (though he was never nominated) and don't want to change their imagine, it's easier to just go to him
2. some blacks make a lot of money being part of that group.
(read Enough, by Juan Williams)
There's also Aaron McGruder (boondocks) and a lot of others.

because the media and the government sees what it wants to see, the media and government show us how they weant us to see things. they show bad things about blacks so in consequence we think bad of blacks, there fore the succeeded.
they want to keep around jesse jackson and al sharpton, they dont do **** for me or anyone else.
also do u notice how the media always talks about a black racial attack but not vice-versa, they want us to think only white can be racist, therefore, most blacks think that!!!
i dont i have a white boyfriend!!!!

The media purely is elementary with some black people. every time a white person says something that a black person "can say", he turns into categorised a racist and has to ask for forgiveness to Sharpton and Jessie (representatives of the u . s . black community) and visit Re-Hab.

Because of the peer police. Black "leaders" have gotten very good at using junior high peer pressure tactics to stifle dissent. As juvenile as it is, it's very effective.
