need help with a movie title?

the movie is like this, its about this white guy who had a black momma,and the mother said that he could never do anything right, and he said he could so she asked him to bring home some milk it took the whole day, he also liked this girl who worked in the libary and they had a poet class and the boy went to her job to impress her and do poetry,and also during the movie there was a little black boy with glasses who was missing and posters everywhere with his photo and the white boy was talking to the little boy and sitting on a bench with his picture on it i dont know what else to say but please help me with this title thank you.
