I live in vancouver, Canada. I was wondering if someone could recommend me a 2X barlow that has good optics for resonably cheap prices. I do understand that good optics come with costly investments. However Im certain there are good barlows out there for cheap that people might have used and enjoyed their views.

For instance skywatcher p130 650mm being a good scope for the begineer with good quality for a cheap price :)

thanks

Many would consider budget barlows (in the $25-$40 range) to be acceptable. I would advise spending a little more ($50-$70) for appreciably crisper views.

Antares and Celestron/Ultima are good barlows in that range.

Hi. Meade and Orion carry pretty inexpensive Barlows. I have two, a 1.8 and an adjustable one. Use them both. Scope is a Meade MTS-SN6.
