Is an Office Administrator different from an Office Receptionist? If so, what is the different? And who hasn't more responisbilities

Usually, the office administrator runs the office. For example, they would keep the supply room full, schedule rooms, order items for the office, deal with the maintenance staff, etc. The receptionist is usually the person who answers the phones and has less responsibility.

Admin people are normally expected to have intermediate to advanced MS Office skill and typing at 30-60 wpm minimum. Many also require PowerPoint and specialized software. Receptionists are not normally required to have as good of office skills, and the pay is less.

in general the administrator has more responsiblity and will be paid more. receptionist duties do often include many administrative things, but again i agree with the other person, it varies so much by employer there's really no standard job description for them.

Check with your HR department and they can tell you the difference. Job titles and descriptions vary with the company
