IF I live in Russia can i still use the iphone?

The iPhone is a quad band phone so it will technically work, but I haven't heard any word of a Russian GSM carrier picking up the phone yet. If you get the phone from somewhere else it will likely be locked to that network, and it might be awhile before people figure out how to unlock it but gauging by its popularity, there will probably be a push to get out an unlocking method as soon as possible.
